Incia Zaffar is an Ontario Certified Teacher and a Yoga instructor. Intellectual, physical and emotional well-being is very important to her and this translates through her passion for teaching yoga. Having worked with children for 16 years, she understands how crucial it is for them to develop both emotional and physical self-confidence at an early age. As a logical next step she founded Once Upon a Mat to create yoga sessions for children and families. Incia has developed an engaging way to weave together story, songs, games and poses while teaching children to be aware of their multi-sensory environment. Here they begin to explore their kinesthetic, visual, aural, inter-personal and intra-personal development.
Nida Zaffar is a freelance make-up artist and a personal chef. Her journey through the visual and culinary arts has led her to the path of purity i.e. health and wellness. She firmly believes in order to look and feel your best you have to be cognizant of what you expose yourself to through food and the environment. She discovered DōTERRA® essential oils which has changed her family’s life. These naturally occurring aromatic oils are found in various plants and extracted for use in food preparation, beauty treatments and health practises.
If you would like to find out how you and your child can get involved in Yoga or want to know more about essential oils, Incia & Nida have put together an event just for you.
